Spreading a little SPARKle

Last week, I got to spend some time at Grayslake High School North, a high school about an hour from Chicago, attending the school’s Spark Week event. 

This is such a great concept. Spark Week is a week-long introduction to artists in various media — music, poetry, film, and yes… literature. 

I met some amazing people, got to talk about the art and the craft of writing, and hopefully, inspire a new writer or several!

Here’s me doing my thing in the Black Box, a very cool approach to an auditorium.
