Authors Unlimited ’17

If you live near Patchogue, NY and have not attended Authors Unlimited — WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

This annual event, organized by a group of Suffolk county librarians, is held on the Saint Joseph’s campus in Patchogue. It was my first time and I had no idea what to expect. I was among the first authors to arrive and when I stepped into the conference room where we were to assemble, I was greeted with a beautiful gift with my name on it. Inside, I found two of my favorite things in the whole world!

Somebody took the time to explore my website and learned I adore HersheKisses and have a weird addiction to using too many exclamation points.

I got to meet two great teens, Sydney and Jaclyn, plus some awesome volunteers like Derek and Christine and even got to reconnect with someone I used to work with long before I became an author. (waves to Mary Ellen)

We talked all about books, about the writing process, about how you can become an author, about my Supernatural addiction. Then we signed books and I’m proud to tell you mine sold out!

!! (because I like exclamation points, remember?)

This is a fabulous event for teens and I look forward to being invited back next year.
